The developers of Whatsapp they keep planning new features dedicated to users. Among the latest changes, one was found in the beta version for Android, number 2.23.11.15. It is, in particular, the possibility to enter a username so as to allow users to be identified more easily and above all to avoid using a telephone number to find a contact.
Specifically, the staff of WABetaInfo has discovered this novelty which consists in the possibility of indicating a unique name which will allow other users to find other people more easily, even if you don’t know their phone number. In this way, among other things, greater privacy of the users themselves is guaranteed. The new option will be identifiable in the following path:
Settings; WhatsApp profile.
More details on the new feature are not yet available. For example, it is not known for sure whether you will have the ability to hide your username or if the operation will be similar to that of Telegram, where the username is actually important for contacting another person.
In any case, the unprecedented option is still in the development phase, therefore the timing with which it will be definitively disseminated is not known.
Finally, WhatsApp is also working on a new interface for Android. In the beta version 2.23.10.6indeed, it can be seen an unprecedented lower navigation bar which will allow users to quickly move between the various main sections of the messaging app.
