NETWORK Rail and 14 train companies will strike in August over continued disputes about pay.

The RMT union, responsible for the strikes earlier this year, has once again decided to take action over pay disputes.
Industrial action will take place on August 18, 2022 and August 20, 2022 – following the strikes on July 27 and July 30.
Around 40,000 rail workers are expected to join in on these strikes, including National Rail, impacting travel across the country.
RMT general secretary Mick Lynch said: “”The rail industry and the government need to understand that this dispute will not simply vanish.
