Vandals have damaged the building of “Rīgas satiksme” which has been renovated

As informed by the company, the repair of the facade and interior of the building cost the company less than 50,000 euros. In the near future, it was planned to install video surveillance at the building.

The company will contact the police, and has also invited eyewitnesses who have information about the possible culprits to come forward on social networks.

“Rīgas satiksme” is a company fully owned by the Riga municipality, which in 2021 worked with a turnover of 161.117 million euros, which is 7.1% less than in 2020. On the other hand, the company’s profit increased 3.1 times and was 3.049 million euros, according to the company’s public information.
