Tottenham are preparing for Chelsea’s interest in Harry Kane

Tottenham Hotspur expect Chelsea to show interest in St[__igning__](https://www.90min.com/talkingtransfers) Harry Kane this summer, sources said 90 minutes.

Kane’s contract with the Spurs will last until 2024 and there is talk of a new one pending until the club appoints a permanent head coach.

90 minutes has long reported that Tottenham are confident of securing the 29-year-old’s long-term future and that remains the case.

However, that doesn’t mean Spurs aren’t anticipating a flurry of transfer interest in their striker.

Sources confirmed a 90 minutes that while Tottenham have not yet been contacted by the teams regarding Kane, they are anticipating it Chelsea and Manchester United will formally make their interest known at some point.

The Blues are on the verge of appointing Mauricio Pochettino, who played a huge role in Kane’s development during his five-and-a-half years at Spurs, as their new head coach.

Pochettino has often suggested that Kane saved his Tottenham career after scoring the winning goal in a 2-1 win at Aston Villa earlier in his reign.

Chelsea – among the Premier League’s worst goalscorers this season with just 30 goals in 32 games – are looking for a striker, with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen at at the top of their list.

In the meantime, Man Utd fans sang “see you in June” to Kane during Thursday’s 2-2 draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which Kane acknowledged when speaking to the press after the game.

“I heard what they were saying, but I’m just focused on this team and trying to finish [the season] forcefully,” he said.

90 minutes previously reported that Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are ready to go after Kane as they believe he would be willing to move to mainland Europe.

kane he is enjoying a superb statistical season despite Spurs’ various woes: only Erling Haaland has scored more Premier League goals this season, while he is now Tottenham’s and England’s all-time top scorer.
