The Ukrainians use British Storm Shadow missiles to regularly make it difficult for the Russian troops to be supplied in the territory of Crimea, as well as in the also occupied southern Kherson and Zaporizhzhya counties. On Wednesday, the military fleet and shipyard stationed in the strategic port of Sevastopol, which is the apple of Moscow’s eye, were fired upon with such weapons, causing heavy losses.
THE Reuters based on Ukrainian sources, it says that the Russian military leaders orders were issued that all Ukrainian fighter jets involved in the attack should be destroyed.
Russia destroyed many fighter jets at the beginning of the war, but has not been able to achieve complete air superiority to this day.
This now backfires on them many times over, as Western NATO missiles can typically be launched from these planes. The Russians fired a number of missiles at Ukrainian air bases, but the Ukrainians were reportedly able to completely neutralize them today.
Russian air defense cannot completely destroy Western cruise missiles, so Russian military targets are exposed to constant threats. In the future, American F-16 fighter jets may also arrive in Ukraine, which may further increase the Russians’ problems.
It is not yet clear how exactly the Russian military plans to carry out the operation targeting the Ukrainian air force, if they have still not been able to completely demobilize the Ukrainian air force in more than a year and a half.
