UNICEF has responded to the matter, but so far the organization has not confirmed reports from the Ukrainian ministry.
“The abduction of children in war is one of six serious violations of children in conflict and is prohibited by international humanitarian law,” said James Elder, spokesman for UNICEF, quoted by CNN.
