The building inspector has not found significant damage to the building on Asara street 8, from which a piece of plaster fell last week, LETA agency learned in the Riga City Council.

Last week, a video was shared on the microblogging site “Twitter”, showing that a large piece of plaster fell from a residential house on Asara Street.

The building inspector of the City Development Department of Riga City Council conducted a general visual inspection of the building, having previously contacted the representative of the house manager “Rīgas namu pārvādāvs” (RNP).

The RNP representative confirmed that the problem is known and is being fixed.

During the visual inspection, it was found that the street and courtyard facades of the building have plaster defects, which have already been repaired.

No damage to the facade decoration that could affect the operation of the building was found.
