The latest Tears of the Kingdom update fixes several duplication issues

Okay, confess: I can’t have been the only one using one The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom Tears duplication issues known to make a whole bunch of diamonds for easy rupees. It wasn’t hard to do! Unfortunately, the money may run out because thanks to those in the game new version 1.1.2 updateit appears that many of the known duplication flaws have been fixed.

The patch notes don’t specifically state this:

Audio bug fixes

Fixed an issue where the sound would play extremely loud under certain conditions.

Additional fixes

Fixed an issue in the main quest, “Work Chamber in the Depths”, where players could not progress past a certain point. Downloading the update will allow players to proceed beyond that point.

Several issues have been fixed to improve the gameplay experience.

But when I updated my game and tried the glitch I was using — jump, take out my paraglider, go to the pause menu, hold five of the items I wanted to duplicate, press Y and B at the end at the same time, see my items tricked fall to the ground, pick them up and do it all again – the glitch no longer worked. Polygon reports that other glitches also stopped working.

Sadly, this means I’m once again stuck mining diamonds in rocks like an idiot instead of magically duplicating them. But I’m not too concerned about that; the game absolutely dominates, even without having 50 diamonds in hand. And I have a feeling some intrepid players will find more duplication issues in the future – players still have ways to cheat items in the years Breath of the wildAfter all.
