THE TV adaptation of The Last of Us is coming to HBO Max in 2023, and the studio has given fans a first look at a few of the scenes.

Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) will take on the role of Joel, a surrogate father to Bella Ramsey’s (Game of Thrones) Ellie.

The pair previously starred together in HBO’s hit series, Game of Thrones, and have proved successful when acting together.

Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreations) also joins the cast as Joel’s friend, Bill.

Filming has already finished for the first season which will include ten episodes, with plot points taken directly from the game. 

Having lost her parents in a post-apocalyptic world, Ellie teams up with father figure Joel in an effort to survive their harsh environment.

There are just two lines of dialogue in the trailer but we do get a good look at some of the show’s environments.
