Ukraine negotiated with China
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba held a telephone conversation with his Chinese counterpart, Foreign Minister Qin Kang, on Thursday, with whom he discussed the peace plan of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
“We discussed the importance of the principle of territorial integrity,” Kuleba highlighted in a post published on Twitter. He explained that, according to him, the fulfillment of the points of the “peace formula” put forward by the Ukrainian president is essential “to stop the aggression and restore a just peace in Ukraine”.
At the G20 summit held in November of last year, Zelensky made public his ten-point peace conditions. Dubbed the Ukrainian “peace formula,” this proposal includes guarantees of nuclear, food and energy security, as well as the withdrawal of Russian troops from occupied Ukrainian territories beyond the 1991 borders.

The UN discussed war crimes
A number of war crimes were committed by Russian troops in Ukraine, the UN Human Rights Council’s investigation committee announced in its report published in Geneva on Thursday.
The panel listed deliberate killings, excesses against civilians, arbitrary detentions, rape and forced displacement of children in its report, which also suggested that attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure could be classified as crimes against humanity.
At the same time, the document blamed the responsibility of Ukrainian soldiers in some cases. The panel found that two cases of indiscriminate attacks and torture of Russian prisoners of war also constitute war crimes.

Olaf Scholz: at the next EU summit, new decisions will be made on the supply of ammunition to Ukraine
The EU will make new decisions on further improving the continuous supply of ammunition to Ukraine, which is defending itself against the Russian attack, at the next meeting of the leaders of the member states, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said on Thursday in the federal parliament.
The chancellor presented the German position developed for the two-day meeting of the European Council, which brings together the heads of state and government of the member states, starting on March 23, and underlined that Germany, together with its European partners, will ensure that Ukraine continues to receive the weapons and other military equipment necessary to defend against a Russian attack.
The rapid supply of ammunition is particularly important, which is why measures are adopted at the EU summit for a continuous and even better supply of ammunition to Ukraine.
Germany is willing to open its public procurement programs to other member states for the sake of the common goal, explained Olaf Scholz.
