Russian sources claimed that one of the launch systems of an Sz-300 air defense missile complex had been hit, and Ukrainian sources went so far as to name an entire Sz-400 air defense complex as a loss for the Russians.
Based on the very first satellite images, it actually seems that neither side is right.
We now have confirmation that Ukrainian forces successfully hit the Yevpatoriya Russian S-400 battery this morning, catastrophically destroying at least one TEL and support vehicle. Images via @kromark

The satellite images show that only one launch station and one of its support vehicles were hit, no other wreckage is visible. It can be noted that an entire air defense missile complex (consisting of many more radars, launchers and command vehicles) was not destroyed by the Ukrainians.
At the same time, the Russian claim that we are “only” talking about an Sz-300 is also highly questionable, because two weeks ago, satellite and other social media footage showed that an Sz-400 complex was still there. At the same time, the launch vehicles are very similar.
