The Dow Jones closed in the positive

The American stock market indices showed a mixed picture at the end of trading: the Dow Jones rose by 0.3 percent, the S&P 500 rose by 0.1 percent, while the Nasdaq fell minimally and essentially stagnated.

The leading American stock indexes opened with a slight loss, currently the Dow Jones is down 0.1 percent, the S&P 500 is down 0.6 percent, and the Nasdaq is down 0.9 percent.

Investors can also look forward to the first quarter’s quick reports, among the American banks JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo and Citigroup, as well as the largest healthcare company, UnitedHealth Group, will report this week.
