The original Apple Watch SE came out in 2020 and had a RRP of $279 / £249 at the moment. With two years gone by and the product removed from Apple’s lineup, you shouldn’t have to pay anywhere near, but you may find that stock has simply run out and deals are few and far between. And you’ll want to watch out for pre-owned or second-hand watches, which should be labeled “refurbished” somewhere on the page but can be hard to spot.
