‘Substantial trouble’: George Conway believes Trump is facing grim legal possibilities and should ‘remain silent’
.
George Conway, the co-founder of the anti-Trump organization The Lincoln Project, recently offered his take on the uphill legal battle former President Donald Trump is facing amid the latest developments surrounding the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) classified documents probe.
On Friday, November 18, Conway appeared on CNN’s “AC360” where he spoke with guest host John Berman. During the segment, Berman asked Conway his thoughts on U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland announcing the appointment of a special counsel for the cases.
Since 2021, Trump has been under investigation for his role in the U.S. Capitol insurrection and most recently for classified documents that were removed from the White House when he left office.
