A secretly recorded video of Tuesday’s prayer luncheon for Georgia Republican United States Senate candidate Herschel Walker shows Walker embedded in a group of supporters who asked God to vanquish “the enemy” and shield Walker from media scrutiny.
The event was hosted by First Baptist Church Pastor Anthony George, who led the sermon in spite of the numerous scandals that are plaguing Walker’s campaign.
“This is the fight of his life, holy God, and we call forth your ministry angels and we ask you to rebuke the devil. Satan will not get the victory,” George says as shouts of “Amen!” ripple through the crowd. “And we know, whatever the results of this election, Herschel wins, because we are more than conquerors. And so we thank you that we can support our fellow conqueror, our brother, our friend, the one that we are praying for today.”
