Ryszard Terlecki KO MP: Don’t scream, look in the mirror

The Minister for State Assets underlined in his statement that “the government is taking measures to limit the increase in energy prices”. The energy crisis, according to him, was caused by “Vladimir Putin and the politics of the European elites completely detached from reality”.

Polish the government, within the framework of the regulatory instruments available, has introduced the widest protection of gas and heat consumers. The next moves, however, are in Brussels. Unlock this mechanism in Brussels as the European People’s Party, until recently led by the king of Europe, Donald Tusk, said Małecki. At these words, Wielichowska addressed the minister from the parliamentary table, stressing that the government should do something about it. Then the vice-president of the Sejm joined the discussion.

– MEP, you are not at the market, you are in the Sejm. Don’t scream, lady. Let yourself look in the mirror – said Terlelcki. – Don’t yell, for God’s sake! Please don’t be embarrassed by the deputy, he continued. However, it is difficult not to get the impression that only the vice-president of the Sejm was embarrassed.

Deputy KO: The government has implemented a socially unjust, flawed and leaked law

– There are building cooperatives and housing communities in Poland which, for the purposes of heating and water heating, purchase thermal energy from energy companies where natural gas is the fuel for the production of thermal energy, and which have been excluded from the compensation – MP Monika Wielkichowska said Thursday to the Sejm addressing Minister Małecki.

– The government has implemented a socially unjust, flawed and, above all, leaky law. I spoke from this place exactly four months ago, behind me complex interpellations, a meeting with the president of the Office for Energy Regulation and participation in the session of the parliamentary committee on energy, climate and state assets. PGNiG treated housing communities, cooperatives and local boilers as commercial tariffs. Minister, what have you still not understood about this topic and why are you not doing anything about it? she asked.

Wielichowska stressed that on February 25 this year he presented, on behalf of the Parliamentary Club of the Civic Coalition, a draft amendment to the energy law. On 23 March the draft was referred to the commission, but to date “remains in the commission’s freezer”. – What are you waiting for? The project is ready, so use it, don’t wait for human drama. I demand that you take a job and repair what you broke – she said and added: – Accept our amendment, it will allow help to all families, not just some. Why don’t you correct your mistakes? What did you, as a minister, do to obtain the drafting of the project?
