The similarities

Before delving into the differences, let’s to tell you those points in which these three phones are twin brothers. The first point is the fast charging of 65 W . The three Realme of the GT family charge from 0 to 100% in just 30 minutes, despite that their batteries are different.

They also share a fingerprint reader under the screen that works especially fast and very precisely. We can complement this biometric system with 2D facial recognition, which is also fast, but it does not work in low light and is less secure.

The processors are different, but all these Realme have 5G connectivity, fast charging of 65 W and an AMOLED screen with high refresh rate

In the same way are traced in terms of connectivity , since the three They are 5G devices, with next-generation NFC and Bluetooth. They also share the software , with Realme UI 2.0 and Android 12 , waiting for them to receive little a bit Android 12 . They all also start from 128 GB of internal storage , being able to go up to 256 GB.

Finally, comment that the Realme GT and Realme GT Master Edition have the same screen , a Samsung Super AMOLED with Full HD + resolution and refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Design: none falls short

If something stands out These Realme mobiles is in design. In our case, we have been able to test the Realme GT and Realme GT Master Edition in vegan leather versions: the finish is more than striking and feels very good in the hand . The main difference here, however, is the size. The extra 0.2 inches of the Realme GT Neo is noticeable, this being the largest model.

The Realme GT Master Edition has different heights on its surface, a very characteristic design.

The Realme GT is seen from afar.

And, at least in this color, the GT Neo 2 is the most discreet (its brothers also have versions with more traditional colors).

All three have plastic edges, although they are so well finished that they feel very premium in the hand , even if there is no aluminum around the edges. If we had to stick with one, we would choose the Realme GT. Specifically, the yellow unit with the large black stripe and the vegan leather give it a lot of personality.

None of the three Realme of the GT family exceeds the 200 grams, great news in times of such large mobiles

The lightest of the three is the Realme GT Master Edition, which weighs 174 grams. It is followed by the Realme GT with 186 grams and finally the heaviest is the Realme GT Neo 2, with almost 200 grams. None are particularly heavy , something that is appreciated when we use them for a long time with one hand.

Otherwise, they all have a fairly accessible and well-made keypad , a design similar front, with hole in the upper left, type C port in the lower part and everything in place. An excellent job on all three models.

Display: a clear winner

Panel of Realme GT Neo 2.

The Realme GT Neo 2 rides a Next-generation AMOLED panel that beats its brothers in four respects: maximum brightness, refresh rate, touch sampling rate and size. We thus find a panel of 6, 62 inches vs. 6, 43 inches of its siblings, with a maximum brightness of 1. 300 nits versus 1. 000 nits of his brothers.

The touch sampling rate of 600 Hz and maximum brightness mark the Difference: the screen of the Realme GT Neo 2 practically competes in the high range

However, the point that most affects here is the rate touch sampling of 599 Hz, almost double that of 360 Hz of the Realme GT and Realme GT Master Edition. The touch sampling rate refers to the response time that happens between when we touch the panel and it responds . The higher the touch refresh, the earlier the panel responds and the latency is minimized.

Thanks to this, the Realme GT Neo 2 it feels even more fluid than the Realme GT , despite not being more powerful than its “older” brother. The refresh rate is also assumed to be adaptive, between 30, 60, 93 and 120 Hz, but at the time of analyzing these devices it is not active, it works all the time between 60 and 120 Hz.

Realme GT screen.

Realme GT Master Edition screen.

Despite the Realme GT Neo 2 being the winner, we asked all three of them a little more brightness outdoors . They look good enough, but we need one more point of brightness to be able to enjoy these panels in the sun.

On the side of the Realme GT and GT Master Edition, the panel is more than correct, although it shows that they are a small step below the Neo.

Autonomy: 30 minutes and voila

At the autonomy level we have somewhat surprising results. The model with the lowest battery is the Realme GT Master Edition, which has 4. 298 mAh. This is the model that lasts the longest by far . This is mainly due to the energy management of the Snapdragon 780 G , a processor that consumes very little and does not demand too many resources. This Master Edition reaches 9 hours of screen without messing up.

The winner in autonomy is the GT Master Edition. They are followed by the Realme GT Neo 2 and, finally, the Realme GT is the one that lasts the least of the three

Followed by Realme GT 2 Neo that, with its 5. 000 mAh, lasts a little less than the Master Edition . In this case it has lasted about 6/7 hours of screen giving it quite a bit, of course. It is appreciated that it has such a large battery, since it is so powerful that it invites you to play with the graphics to the maximum, and that costs.

Finally, we have the Realme GT, with 4. 500 mAh. Its battery can be a bit short if we play a lot, being closer to 5 hours of screen. Any of the three lasts the day , but curiously the best is the one with the smallest battery.

However, the important thing here is that all three have fast charging of 65 W, so just half an hour to have them fully charged.

Cameras: the point to improve

At the photographic level the three Realme GT have a main sensor of 64 megapixels , an 8 ultra wide angle and a two megapixel macro. Although the resolution is the same, the sensor of the Realme GT Neo 2 and Realme GT is slightly larger than that of the GT Master Edition.

The Realme GT Master Edition is the most focused on selfies: it has a higher resolution and its front camera is more angular

By his side, this Master Edition is the only one of the three with a selfie camera of 32 megapixels , while its older brothers have a main sensor of 16 megapixels.

Despite these small differences, the The summary is clear: all three offer very similar photographs, this being one of the few weaknesses of this Realme trio. The photos are decent, but the processing is quite artificial .

All three need to improve processing: HDR works somewhat inconsistently and detail is somewhat artificial

We noticed about all when enlarging the images and looking for detail, as well as in working with HDR, which can be improved. We liked the white balance, the color level work and the shooting speed.

The ultra wide angle is also similar in the three models, with some color differences, mainly due to the inconsistency of the processing. It is an inclusion that is appreciated , although we would have liked a little more final quality.

When it falls at night, the results are almost identical again , with enough photographs, even if there is not too much light. With night mode the photos turn out much better, although we still have some problems with the dynamic range, especially with highlights that burn easily.

Finally, speaking of the selfie, the Realme GT Master Edition offers more information on the scene . It sneaks in a lot by saturating the colors, but it is the one that offers a more natural and more angular detail, something that is appreciated in selfies. The Realme GT and GT 2 Neo are more realistic with the color.

What Realme GT do I buy?

Our bet is on the Realme GT Neo 2, the most balanced model of the three. It is the GT that has the best screen and battery , and the only point where the Realme GT surpasses it is the processor. However, in our performance tests we have seen that there are no notable differences between the 870 and the 888 , even in intense days of gaming .

As we said in its analysis, the Realme GT Neo 2 fulfills everything: power, battery, fast charge, sound … It is the most complete GT

If what we are looking for is a somewhat smaller mobile and yes or yes we want the best processor on the market, the Realme GT has an even more striking finish compared to the Neo , and having that extra power in a not so big terminal is a plus.

The Realme GT Master Edition has a profile more oriented to the average user, less demanding in gaming 800613 and you don’t need extras like stereo sound or such a powerful processor. Undoubtedly three more than interesting alternatives, although the GT Neo 2 has managed to conquer us by a lot .
