Netflix wasn’t feeling the love Sunday night after a glitch forced the streamer to scuttle its live reunion show for Love is blind.
After the debacle, Netflix is no longer active Love is blind reunion special started trending for all the wrong reasons, with hordes of frustrated viewers venting on Twitter on the live stream failed.
The new plan is for the now pre-recorded Love is blind streaming special at 3pm on Mondays.
Netflix has been constantly beating its drums for the Love is blind reunion show, and untold millions of fans were primed and ready for the special that airs Sunday night.
But when the 8 p.m. Eastern broadcast time came, impatient Love is blind fans were greeted with an error message that read, “Sorry to interrupt – we’re having trouble playing Netflix. Please check your Internet connection and try again. Error code M7037-1103.”
Needless to say Love is blind the fans weren’t amused.
Netflix’s Twitter feed did its best damage control, tweeting “Promise #LoveIsBlindLIVE will be worth the wait…” shortly after the live special was supposed to start streaming.
But after 90 minutes of static (well, that’s how it worked, anyway), Netflix has finally thrown in the towel:
To all of you who stayed up late, woke up early, missed out on their Sunday afternoon… we are incredibly sorry that the Love is Blind Live Reunion didn’t go as planned. We’re shooting it now and will have it on Netflix as soon as humanly possible. Again, thanks and sorry.
Naturally, social media lit up with complaints from annoyed viewers, who they’ve channeled their frustration into some clever memes on the stumbling block of Netflix live streaming.
Netflix has not yet revealed the cause of its Love is blind live streaming issues, but presumably a glitch was to blame.
While Netflix was among the first to come out of the gates when it comes to streaming video, the streamer has been conspicuously late when it comes to live events.

I have little doubt that Netflix will eventually get its live stream ducks in a row, but the one on Sunday Love is blind the belly shot made the wrong kind of plop.
