Natalie Portman (born Neta-Lee Hershlag; June 9, 1981) is an actress and filmmaker with dual Israeli and American citizenship. Prolific in film since a teenager, she has starred in blockbusters and also played psychologically troubled women in independent films, for which she has received various accolades, including an Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards.

Natalie Portman, whose real name is Natali Herşlag, was born on June 9, 1981 in Jerusalem (Jerusalem), Israel, as the only child of her family. Natalie’s father’s family is Jewish immigrants from Poland and Romania, while her mother’s family is Jewish from Austria and Russia. Natalie Portman’s father is a doctor who specializes in endocrinology. USA in 1984 with his family when he was 3 years old. They moved to Washington. Then, in 1990, they moved to New York. Natalie finished high school in 1999 at Syosset High School in New York.

She went on to star in the romantic comedy No Strings Attached (2011) and featured as Jane Foster in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero films Thor (2011), and Thor: The Dark World (2013), which established her among the best-paid actresses in the world. She has since portrayed Jacqueline Kennedy in the biopic Jackie (2016), gaining her third Academy Award nomination, and a biologist in the science fiction film Annihilation (2018).

He continued his education in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University and graduated in 2003. Natalie Portman is doing her masters at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. When he was in middle school age, he went to theater camps during summer holidays from the age of 13.

Natalie Portman, who has been taking dance lessons since the age of 4, made her first step in her cinema career thanks to modeling. She started modeling as a child at the age of 12, and at the age of 14, she gained worldwide fame with her role in Luc Besson’s movie Leon. She quickly climbed the ladder of fame with her role as Queen Amidala in the last three films of the Star Wars series.

Natalie Portman was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2005 for her role in “Closer” and received the Golden Globe award in the same category. In 2011, she was nominated for the Best Actress Oscar and Golden Globe for her role in “Black Swan”. Won the Golden Globe and Oscar.

Before the premiere of Star Wars Episode III in 2005, Natalie Portman had her hair shaved for the movie V for Vendetta, which keeps the tabloids busy. He then starred in Goya’s Ghosts.

He can speak Hebrew and English as a native speaker. In addition, he speaks French, German, Spanish and Japanese. He is also learning Arabic.

He married the French ballet dancer and choreographer Benjamin Millepied, whom he knew in the movie Black Swan. They have a son born in June 2011. Movies:
