Score prediction Man City-Liverpool
Both sides will want to come back with a bang after spending a month on the sidelines, but Liverpool seem perhaps more likely to do so.
This is mainly because Klopp has more first-team players at his disposal than Guardiola, giving him a stronger squad overall and making him his team favourite.
Furthermore, he got the better of the Spaniard three times in a row and will likely place more weight on the Carabao Cup as Liverpool are unlikely to win the Premier League this season while Man City are still very much in contention.
All of this suggests that the visitors will emerge victorious, although a team with De Bruyne and Haaland can never be ruled out.
