President Joe Biden on Wednesday ridiculed threats made by right-wing lawmakers that he will be impeached if the Republican Party gains a majority in the United States House of Representatives once all of the votes from the midterm elections are counted.
Biden had just finished giving a speech about the Democratic Party’s historically strong performance on a night that typically proves disastrous for the incumbent government when he was asked by a reporter to comment on the GOP’s taunts – which include launching investigations into Biden’s son, Hunter.
“Lots of luck in your senior year, as my coach used to say,” Biden said of the conservatives’ vendetta.

“Look, I think the American public wants us to move on and get things done for them. And you know I heard that there were – it was reported, whether it’s accurate or not, I’m not sure, but it was reported many times – that Republicans are saying and the former president said, how many times you’re gonna impeach Biden – impeachment proceedings against Biden – I mean, I think the American people will look at all of that for what it is,” Biden said.
