Many other stories tell of how he overcame his fear of becoming Batman. For me, however, it was more exciting to show him in the middle of the criminological process. Proving that he can be wrong. The movie is really a crime mystery, we approach it as if Batman could really exist. He doesn’t have super powers, but he’s extremely alert and focused. The movie “Chinatown” was our biggest inspiration, as well as “Taxi Driver” and “The French Connection” – a lot of 70’s vibe.
In previous productions, the Joker has been portrayed, among others, Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix.
