According to the recent announcement, the company put Croatia’s second largest solar power plant into test operation in Virjé. The expected annual production of electricity fed into the network will be 12,225 MWh. In addition, the company will soon put into operation a second solar power plant, with which INA will bring about 16,000 MWh of electricity from renewable sources into the grid every year, which is enough to cover the average annual consumption of cities such as Makarska or Jastrebarsko, Ratatics said. .
According to the specialist, there are still many more steps in the plan – INA is participating in the tender for geothermal resources in Croatia and aims to be at the forefront of green hydrogen production in the Croatian market.
