A resident of Jūrmala noticed a cardboard house in the dune area. It turns out that a woman lives inside, reports the program “Bez Tabu”.
“While walking along Bulduri, line 12, in the dunes area, I accidentally came across a cardboard house covered with a film in the bushes. At first I thought it was some kind of garbage pile, but when I got closer, I noticed that there was a woman nearby. I addressed her, but the woman, without answering anything, he crept into his cabin. I wonder how it is possible to live in a dune area nowadays, in a self-made hut? None of the services seem to know about what is happening,” Anna, a seafarer, tells the program.
The program went to the scene and talked to the resident of the house.
A woman named Inga has been living in the cardboard house she made herself for three and a half years. Born in Riga, spent ten years abroad, but returned to Latvia four years ago, where she lived in a social house for a year.
The woman has a debt of 20,000 euros, so it is not enough money to live like other people.
“Bez tabu” reports that Inga participated in the television show “Through thorns to…”.
When asking Inga how she can live under the open sky, the woman says that it is better than on the street.
The social service and the municipal police regularly monitor Inga.
