Former US President Donald Trump faces “multiple charges” of falsifying work-related documentation. This was reported to the Associated Press (AP) news agency by two sources familiar with the matter.

The AP states that at least one of the episodes in the case meets the definition of a criminal offense. Agency sources did not provide any other information. The former president is expected to be formally charged on April 4. However, the former owner of the White House will not be handcuffed, as he is under the protection of the secret service, reports Interfax.

On the other hand, Donald Trump himself said on his social network that Judge Juan Merken, who is responsible for the Manhattan district in New York, hates him.

On March 30, the Manhattan District Grand Jury voted to criminally indict former US President Donald Trump. According to The New York Times, more than two dozen charges will be brought against Trump. CNN writes about more than 30 accusations.

Currently, it is known that one of them is related to the payment of 130 thousand US dollars to porn actress Stormy Daniels (real name – Stephanie Cliffords), who agreed not to disclose information about her sexual relationship with Trump before the 2016 election.

Despite the criminal charges, Trump plans to continue his 2024 presidential campaign. In a written statement, he called the accusations political persecution and election interference.
