On June 5, the water temperature in Babelīša lake has reached plus 17 degrees, while in Ķīpsala – plus 16 degrees.
Meanwhile, the water temperature in Daugavgrīva, Vakarbulli and Vecāki is only plus 13 degrees.
The water has warmed up to plus 15 degrees in Ķīšezer and Lucavsala.
In the Daugava swimming area in Rumbula, the water temperature is plus 14 degrees.
There are a total of eight official swimming spots in Riga – Daugavgrīva, Vakarbulļi, Vecāki, Rumbula, Bābelīša lake, Ķipsala, Ķīšezer, as well as Lucavsala and Lucavsala bay.
