Match reports and analysis are still being written on Premier League gameweek 29 fixtures, but that’s all ahead as FPL managers look to the weekend’s fixtures.

The rearranged matches helped the fantasy players post big totals last game week, with the likes of Kaoru Mitoma, Joelinton and Kevin De Bruyne all bringing back scores in the teens from midfield.

So which midfielders should you target in Gameweek 30? Here are our top picks.

Jack Grealish (£6.9m)

Jack Grealish has rarely been an obvious choice for FPL Manchester City due to Pep Guardiola’s penchant for swapping forwards in and out of his starting XI every week.

However, the former Aston Villa star is in fine form following a goal and assist against Liverpool and should be well rested, with City sidelined midweek.

Kaoru Mitoma (£5.6m)

Kaoru Mitoma’s profile has risen immensely this season and the Japanese international could score another goalscorer at Tottenham on Saturday.

Spurs are in disarray and have conceded four goals in their last two games. Mitoma could rejoice against the more offensive Pedro Porro, who has collected 39 points in his last five games.

Emiliano Buendia (£5.7m)

Aston Villa are enjoying a wonderful run of form under Unai Emery and Emiliano Buendia is becoming a more crucial part of the squad than he previously was under Steven Gerrard.

The Argentinian contributed a goal and an assist in wins against Bournemouth and Leicester and with Ollie Watkins in fine form up front, expect more points from the attacking midfielder against Nottingham Forest.

Harvey Barnes (£6.7m)

It remains to be seen how much of a bounce from manager’s exit Leicester will get from the departure of Brendan Rodgers, but Harvey Barnes is one Foxes player who hasn’t let his standards slip this season.

The 25-year-old has surpassed James Maddison (nine) in the league with ten goals and the games against Bournemouth and Wolves – admittedly hampered by a trip to Man City – could yield good results.

When is the transfer deadline in FPL Gameweek 30?

The transfer deadline for FPL managers to make changes sooner is 11am BST on Saturday 8th April. There are no games on Friday night this week, with Everton’s away fixture at Manchester United being the first game of the weekend on Saturday.
