Reigning Swedish champions FC Rosengård are ready for the Swedish Cup final.

After an own goal by Eskilstuna United, Skånelaget were able to hold on and secure a semi-final victory.

Now BK Häcken awaits the final.

FC Rosengård are ready for the Swedish Cup final after an own goal by Eskilstuna United.

About a quarter was played when Rosengård’s Mimmi Larsson stepped forward and fired a shot on goal which was then controlled by United’s Matilda Plan.

It would have been the only goal of the game, enough for Rosengård to secure last place in the Swedish Cup.

– We have more ball but we don’t create much so we can review the game and see what we can do better. But we won the game, so we’re happy about it, Olivia Schough tells Cmore after the game.

United had a few chances to equalize but failed to get the ball behind Tegan Micah into Rosengård’s goal.

Rosengård, who won Allsvenskan last year, will face BK Häcken, who finished in second place in the final.

– It’s a lot of fun, it’s great with games like this, says Olivia Schough.
