The residents of the house have shared a photo showing that several police cars, medics and other representatives of the emergency services have stopped in the yard of the house. This sight has caused concern and fear about what happened in the peaceful house, because none of the residents of the house complains that loud or unpleasant neighbors lived in the house in the particular stairwell.

The housekeeper confirmed that she had seen blood in the elevator.

The emergency medical service reveals that one person from the address on Purvciemā street has been taken to the hospital. Unbeknownst to the neighbors, violence has taken place in the building, the police informs.

The representative of the State Police, Elīna Priedīte, informs: “Upon arriving at the scene, the law enforcement officers found out that a conflict broke out between the victim woman and another person during the joint consumption of alcohol, as a result of which the woman was stabbed in the hand.

The victim refused to write a report to the police about the incident, but a departmental investigation has been initiated at the Riga Teikas station of the State Police to clarify the circumstances of the incident.”
