Rome, 9 March (Labitalia) – The long wave of the pandemic has further accelerated the evolution of working models. The new normal is being defined and after analyzing the transition from smart working to a more complete and effective model of agile management, Fondirigenti, the largest interprofessional fund for the continuous training of managers (14,000 companies and 80,000 executives), has wanted to dedicate a specific initiative to these issues, ‘Scacco al Re-Turn’, created with Federmanager and Manager Solutions precisely to explain the turning points necessary to adequately accompany companies in the new dimensions of work that the future requires.

“In terms of smart working, we were pioneers in launching a quick survey in the first emergency phase – explains the president of Fondirigenti Carlo Poledrini – the results have given rise to a deeper and more structural reflection on how to adopt agile and welfare management connected to it, which led to the development of a model based on the metaphor of the game of chess in which each of the pieces represents a role of the company system. Based on the results of our in-depth studies, with our two Notices published in 2021, we have financed training plans also focused on developing the managerial skills necessary to manage the new forms of work organization “.

“In particular, with the Notice 1/2021, whose activities are under construction, Fondirigenti financed 151 plans on these issues, for an overall financing value that is just under two million dolars. , both new managerial skills, and technical / managerial skills regarding agile working models, performance evaluation systems, stabilization of smart working models, corporate well-being and welfare “, adds Poledrini.

“Scacco al Re-Turn refers to the turning point to be made, in the context of culture and corporate activities, to favor the recovery of the Italian economy. To do this, managers with suitable skills are needed – underlines the president of Federmanager, Stefano Cuzzilla – The contribution to recovery that agile work can make is relevant for many reasons. In the second year of the pandemic we moved from the “pure” Smart or Agile to a “hybrid” context, which describes the new framework found in many companies, in which work completely in presence or completely at a distance now represents a minority “.

The strategic nature of the issue is confirmed by the Protocol, promoted at national level by the Ministry of Labor, for the adoption of agile work in a more structural way at the end of the emergency, with transformations that will have an increasingly significant impact. The initiative aimed at spreading and strengthening awareness of the importance of Agile management and favoring the shift from a reconnaissance to a predictive vision of data, increasingly necessary in rapidly evolving contexts, by developing models capable of making it more balanced professional life with personal life, based on the sharing of values such as trust, empowerment and the assignment of clear and measurable objectives.

Currently, the percentage of remote workers stands at levels close to 30% of the employees of large organizations, such as Poste, Unicredit, BNL, Vodafone – to cite names known to most – which predict that at least 60% of staff will continue to work remotely and in hybrid mode after the health emergency phase (Politecnico di Milano – Smart Working Observatory).

“To govern these phenomena, adequate managerial skills are needed – concludes Carlo Poledrini – in the public as well as in the private sector. Beyond the various new leadership models and styles that will be presented today, what is certain is the need for train “managers of the movement” able to adapt and adapt professional and economic resources to constantly changing scenarios, and managers of the smart organization, because the simple “organization” based on “stable” variables is no longer enough ” .

“To be up to the challenges of this complex season – concludes Stefano Cuzzilla – agile leaders need to keep trust and a new style of leadership at the center with a vision that opens up to a set of” acted out “rather than” theorized “ways , in the context of a growing affirmation of “gentle leadership”. A new approach, but essential with respect to the current work models and, in my opinion, the most efficient one for the company “.

All this will be discussed on Thursday 10 March (5 pm) on the occasion of the project’s final web conference, which will see the participation of the top management of Fondirigenti and Federmanager and some of the most authoritative voices from the business and managerial sectors. The meeting will be attended by: Mario Cardoni, general manager of Federmanager; Carlo Poledrini, president of Fondirigenti; Alessandra Ceccarelli, Federmanager organization & development; Guido Stratta, people and organization director of the Enel Group; Donatella De Vita, global head of development, learning, engagement and welfare Pirelli; Riccardo Illy, president of Polo del Gusto Illy Group; Moreno Massetti, general manager of the Fagioli Group; Marina Cima, president of Manager Solutions.
