Black Friday shopping tips

We often find that the best savings are for older models. Be sure to confirm which generation of the discounted model is so you know exactly what you’re buying and how much it’s really worth. Sometimes retailers switch to selling refurbished or used products once they run out of brand new models. Be sure to verify that the discounted model isn’t actually a used Mac and therefore not as good a deal as it might appear. On Amazon, for example, look for Buy New prices. Mac deals aren’t limited to Black Friday. There are good deals to be had all year round, so don’t feel pressured to shop on Black Friday. For our readers outside the US, however, this might be the best time to buy a new Mac: Apple looks set to raise Mac prices at some point, as it did for iPad pricing after it launched in October. The best Black Friday iMac deals

The 24-inch Apple iMac has an M1 chip and comes in a selection of different colors. The 27-inch model was discontinued a while ago, and while you can find a bargain on one, we wouldn’t recommend buying it. A Mac Studio or MacBook Pro would be a better choice.
