Arsenal have unveiled the signing of Polish centre-back Jakub Kiwior from Serie A side Spezia.
The 22-year-old has been a regular in Italy this season and has impressed enough to earn a move on to the Premier League leaderswho have agreed to pay around £20m to bring Kiwior to the UAE this month.
Confirmation of his move to Arsenal may have come a little earlier than the Gunners had hoped, with Kiwior’s first interview with club media going live online before any official announcements were made.
Fans should only have to wait a few minutes, however, with Arsenal soon confirming that Kiwior had signed a “long-term deal”.

Sporting director Edu added: “We are delighted to have completed the signing of Jakub Kiwior. He is a young talent that we have been monitoring for some time. We are now looking forward to working with Jakub and seeing his continued development with us. We welcome Jakub to Arsenal.”
