By the end of the summer, we can see a noticeable drop in prices for food, Gregoirea told France Inter radio. Earlier, President Emmanuel Macron said that food inflation will cause difficulties for consumers until autumn.

The president of the Bank of France, Francois Villeroy de Galhau, told RTL last week that, in their view, inflation may have peaked in the country, followed by a gradual decline in the second half of the year.
