At least eight people were injured when a car rammed into pedestrians in the center of Jerusalem, Israeli medics said on Monday, April 24.
It is suspected that the car hitting people was a deliberate attack.
The driver of the car, the alleged attacker, was “neutralized”, the police said.
It is not clear if he is dead.
According to the ambulance service, among the victims is a 70-year-old man who was seriously injured.
The security situation in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories has been tense for quite some time.
