Good deeds don’t just bring kindness and benefits to others, they also help improve health. Researchhas proven that volunteering can actually lower blood pressure, giving us an excellent reason to be kind. But some people don’t need special occasions to support and help others, and their stories are worth hearing.

Our lives can be full of bad events. And at Rocked Buzz, we appreciate acts of kindness and want to share the touching stories of people who make this world a better and brighter place. But since not all of them managed to take photos, we included written accounts of their acts of kindness in the bonus section of this article.

1. This couple decided to use puppies from a shelter instead of flowers for her wedding to draw the guests’ attention to the problem of stray animals.

2. “Random act of kindness from a stranger at 2 A.M.”

3. “Shared about unexpectedly becoming a mom to a preemie baby girl (adopted through the state). A Reddit user sent me all her daughter’s preemie and newborn clothes!”

4. A special park for a special bike

My son has parked his bike by this lamppost just about every day for the last year. This morning, this sticker had appeared. Absolutely made our day. People can be so brilliant. Thank you, whoever did it 😊

Amy Kales@agkales

Note written by me and slipped to Santa: “My son, Jack, is 15 and has an intellectual disability. He whole heartedly believes in Santa. Please keep the magic alive.” Santa winked at me, greeted him like an old friend. “Jack! It is great to see you again.” Kindness matters.

Bonus: Words about kindness

Kindness is the best way to treat people.

eye-lee@ailijones

A girl in my sorority once ran across campus to bring me a battery for my insulin pump because I was in lab, & today she pulled out a handful of batteries and said she carries them around just in case I need one and it’s honestly the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for me.

Everyone comes together to help.

Hannah Baxter@Isapalindrome

Just watched a man bringing home a goldfish on the train accidentally pop the bag- fish flops onto the floor. 3 people swarm to save him (the fish not the man). Guy chugs the last of his coffee and throws the fish in his cup. Lady next to him empties in her bottle of water.

Unexpected kindness

Ari Yarwood@AriYarwood

For the very first time in my life, a tall person stood in front of me at a concert, looked back, asked “Can you still see?” and then answered themselves with “Of course you can’t, I’m like 6 feet tall,” and then MOVED. I wish so many blessings on their house
